FBO Tips

Banyan at OPF has the best ramp service I've experienced anywhere in the US. Ground crew had the car waiting poolside within three minutes of touch-down. Also — book the Sheltair lounge if you're departing Friday afternoon, the crowd is surprisingly fun.

Timing

Art Basel week prices jump 40–60% above standard rates. Book in October if you're going in December. Same applies to the Miami Open — two weeks in March where the whole city goes private-jet crazy. If you're flexible on dates, fly the Monday after an event weekend for the best pricing.

Airport Access

If you're flying into Teterboro during weekday mornings, request your ground transportation before landing. Traffic builds quickly, and having a car ready can save 20–30 minutes. For Manhattan transfers, helicopter connections are also worth considering when time is critical.
